Brian Marks

Brian worked in the Astrophysics group during the summer of 1994 as an NSF REU student sponsored by the American Astronomical Society. His research on the stability of shock-bounded slabs explores the recently discovered Nonlinear Thin Shell Instability. As part of the AAS REU award, Brian attended the recent AAS meeting in Tucson, AZ to present the results of his research. A preliminary discussion of his work is available in our research web page.
