SASI Rotation
SASI in a Spinning Star
- Model
- To study the effects of rotation we follow the simulations described in Blondin
& Shaw (2007).
- Geometry
- We must make a big deal about cylindrical versus spherical geometry.
- Procedure
- The SASI is excited by dropping a density perturbation onto the shock. The
growth of the SASI modes is measured by tracking the Fourier components of the
angular velocity.
